Conference Staff Update
Our Susquehanna Conference Disaster Response Coordinator, Deb Currinder, has accepted another position with a school district. Her last day was Friday, August 15, 2025. As Disaster Response Coordinator for the last year, Deb has passionately promoted and coordinated Disaster Response Ministry efforts; including setting up training for Early Response Teams, sending ERTs to disaster areas, deploying with a team to Augusta, Georgia, conducting educational sermons, overseeing Disaster Response/Volunteers in Mission trailers, and representing the conference with several different agencies. We are delighted to welcome Rev. Sara Shaver as the new Disaster Response/Volunteers in Mission (VIM) Coordinator. Sara has served as pastor of churches of various sizes and formerly as a District Superintendent.
