COVID-19 Vaccines for Children and Teens

On May 10th, children aged 12 years and older became eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

To answer questions about vaccinating children, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has shared a COVID-19 Vaccines for Preteens and Teens fact sheet with information on safety, possible side effects, and tips on what to do before, during and after your child’s vaccination.

Gov. Wolf Signs Renewal of COVID-19 Disaster Declaration to Aid in Recovery

“The disaster declaration allows more medical professionals to administer vaccines, ensures families harmed financially by the pandemic have access to healthy food through SNAP benefits and ensures Pennsylvania counties and businesses remain eligible for federal disaster recovery dollars."
